I am an architect and ceramic artist living and working in London. I was born in Tbilisi in a half Armenian and half Ukrainian family. In 2022, I moved to London, starting a new chapter in my creative journey.
I studied architecture at the Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg and worked in the field for several years. After completing a master’s degree at the Moscow Architectural School (MARCH), I moved to London to further my architectural career.
During my studies, I discovered a passion for working with clay and plaster models. Hands-on work calmed and provided a deeper insight into architectural projects, allowing me to view architectural aspects as objects. One of the highlights was creating a model of a "Qvevri" during my winery project—a traditional Georgian vessel used for wine fermentation and storage.
Being material-oriented in projects is always preferable for me.
Here in London ceramics entered my life as a means of finding inner balance. This led to a new phase in my artistic activity.
My goal is to combine all my artistic and architectural experience in creating ceramic pieces that balance on the edge of art and design.
